Beginning Nov. 4, 2018, the School of Landscape Architecture will host a team representing the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board for an onsite review toward reaccreditation for its three-year Master of Landscape Architecture program.

The review process examines the school’s goals and objectives; program autonomy, governance and administration; and professional curriculum in knowledge, skills, applications, research and scholarly methods.

A significant element in this process is the assessment of student and program outcomes and faculty development. The team also will consider performance in outreach to the institution, communities, alumni and practitioners as well as quality of facilities, equipment and technology.

Faculty, students and staff members will engage with the review team during the four-day review, which includes a critique of student work. The team will conduct interviews with UT administrators, recent graduates, current students, staff and other team members and visit facilities before rendering preliminary findings on the final day.
