January 5, 2016 Respected Architect, Robert Holsaple, Dies
Robert D. Holsaple passed away on Dec. 27, 2015, at the age of 89. 聽Holsaple was a well-respected architect and a founding member of , a successful architecture and interior design firm.聽 A former faculty member of the College of Architecture and Design, Holsaple was known in the college for his passion for teaching students.
By all accounts a man of integrity and passion with a wonderful sense of humor, Holsaple is聽remembered by professionals for his contributions to iconic designs in 快活视频.聽 He was a member of several boards and served as chairman of the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners for several years. 聽Holsaple was a faithful member of Fountain City Presbyterian Church, where he served as deacon, elder, trustee and choir member, and a member of the West 快活视频 Rotary Club for more than 48 years.聽 He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, writing and piloting private aircraft.
Holsaple is survived and greatly missed by his devoted wife of more than 64 years, Lillian Holsaple; sisters-in-law, Wanda Thomas and Tommye Louise Rankin; many cherished nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends; and his church family.
