November 3, 2021Schools of Design, Interior Architecture and Art Undergo Reaccreditation
In November 2021, our School of Design and School of Interior Architecture as well as the School of Art and Art Education department are undergoing reaccreditation through the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). On Nov. 3-5, the schools are hosting an on-site accreditation review team from NASAD including these reviewers:

, Professor, Director, School of Art, University of Cincinnati
, Professor, Graphic Design, Executive Director, and Founder of the Innovation Center for Design Excellence, Department of Visual Arts, California State University, Fullerton
During the visit, the team will review work from students in all three programs exhibited throughout the Art + Architecture Building and meet with directors, faculty, staff and students from the programs, representatives from Ewing Gallery, the deans from the two represented colleges and UT administration officials. The reviewers also will conduct class visits.
Following the on-site visit, the review team will compile its findings and inform the programs of its decision regarding reaccreditation.
The public is invited to view the exhibited student work during an open house on Nov. 5, 4-7 p.m. Maps will be available at all entrances to the A+A Building for the self-guided and self-paced event.
Our School of Design is an accredited institutional member of NASAD for its program leading to Bachelor of Fine Arts 4 years: Graphic Design.
Our School of Interior Architecture is an accredited institutional member of NASAD for its program leading to Bachelor of Science 4 years: Interior Architecture (Design). This school also is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. Read more about accreditation.
