2021 Spring Commencement: Graduate Students
May 7, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
For the first time in UT鈥檚 history, commencement will take place in Neyland Stadium. Commencement for students in our college will take place at three times:
- For graduate students: Friday, May 7, 2021, 4 p.m.
- For undergraduate students: Saturday, May 8, 2021, 10 a.m.
- Graphic Design students: Sunday, May 9, 2021, 1 p.m.
Graduate Students
Students in our graduate programs鈥攇raduate Architecture and Landscape Architecture鈥攚ill participate with all other UT graduate students at the May 7 commencement ceremony. Master’s-candidate students will wear their hoods to the ceremony. Registration is required.
Registration
Graduating students who intend to participate in commencement must register to do so by using the registration link e-mailed in early March. Registration closes April 1.
Health and Safety
To ensure health and safety for all, UT will put into place protocols related to the coronavirus pandemic, including requiring tickets for guests, limiting the number of guests, assigning seating, ensuring social distancing, requiring masks, restricting hand shaking and more.
